⚠️ Understanding Yaki texture — please read before ordering

Yaki straight is not the same as silky straight. Here is the difference:

• Silky straight: Extremely smooth, glossy, and fine — often looks very polished and sleek
• Yaki straight: Has a slight natural coarseness — mimics the look and feel of African-American hair that has been freshly relaxed. It is straight, but with a more matte, natural finish

If you have natural, relaxed, or lightly texturised Afro-Caribbean hair, REMI will blend with your own hair far more naturally than a silky straight wig. If you are expecting the ultra-glossy finish of a silky straight wig, REMI may appear more textured than you anticipate.

⚠️ Colour — what to expect

REMI is natural black (1B) — a soft, warm-toned black. She is not jet black (blue-black) and not dark brown. In bright natural light you may notice the hair has a very subtle warm sheen — this is the quality of virgin human hair reflecting light naturally.

📏 Cap size

REMI comes in one standard size. To measure your head: wrap a soft tape measure around your head starting at your front hairline, above your ears, around the back, and back to the front. The cap has an internal adjustable strap. If you are unsure of your fit, message us before ordering.

✨ What is HD lace?

HD lace (High Definition lace) is an ultra-thin, ultra-sheer lace that virtually disappears against all skin tones. Unlike standard lace — which can look beige or show a visible grid — HD lace requires minimal blending. REMI's 13×6 frontal gives you full hairline coverage and 6 inches back, so you can part anywhere across the front.
